* A selection of Sheet Music and Scores for some of the many Pieces Derek has written *

Derek often gets emails from people interested in getting hold of copies of Sheet Music for some of the many pieces that appear on his CD's/Albums or are heard at Gigs/Concerts.

It's not possible on a Website like this to put up large amounts of Sheet Music - and even if we could, there would almost certainly be some 'copywrite issues' that might cause problems?!

But...the good news is... Derek composes quite alot of music himself, and we will showcase some of *HIS* Sheet Music on this Page.

First up are some sheets from a piece Derek wrote called "New York Walk". Derek writes :

"My tune, and the inspiration is a mixture of two things : Firstly playing a tune called "The Groover" written by John Burch alongside Dick Morrissey, one of my hereos, and secondly hearing Gary Cox play the Pink Panther theme with the N.D.O. when I was only 12 years old but deciding there and then, that playing the saxophone was going to be the only option for me".
